Ostuka acquires “smart pill” company Proteus for 1/100th of its previous value

Proteus, the “smart pill” unicorn, once valued at $1.5 billion, is acquired by Otsuka for $15 million. Digital Therapeutics have a great future, but they probably need the industry clinical, regulatory and commercial muscle to succeed in an omni-channel world.
